Soccer-Rating.com: Use it without https https://betadopt.com/pele555/ I will try to fix https in next days. |
Soccer-Rating.com: This is a bit confusing, but it has developped like this over time and I don't want to change it now. = Bet on bold teams, avoid star teams |
Soccer-Rating.com: It depends on you. Usually 10 is a bit stronger than the other ones. You can also check results (button is on upper right corner). Last 30 days: 10 133% ROI, 9 114%, 8 104% |
Soccer-Rating.com: Today Belgium is not fully motivated, because they are already qualified. So it's not the best bet in the world, although the computer says so (try to understand this ... the computer see that we get very good odds for Belgium, but there's a "reason" for this). Importtant or motivation is: Cup with group stage ... and also league at end of season. Here just check if our teams is already qualified. If yes, avoid. Example: avoid Belgium today. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Yes, that's a commong strategy and it's vrery good. Odds rating should be at least +1/-1. Maybe also try to understand what you are doing. Odds rating means that you get very good odds for this team And lineup ratings means that your team is very strong. |
Soccer-Rating.com: No. With users choice in "Sure Bets" you can just see the "sure bets tips" (manual tips). The better page to follow user tips is: Betting Tools / User Tips. Here you can see all betting system from users (computer tips/strategies) + also the sure bet tips (manual tips). |
Soccer-Rating.com: Expected odds = "calcuated odds from soccer-rating.com" You can also say fair odds. For example if we have very high ratings like +40, then (calcualted) expected odds would be lower than bookmaker's odds (like expected odds 2.10 but you can get 2.30). So it's obviously a good bet. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Yes, -10 is good enough. Very often I like lower ratings (like -8 to -20) more than higher ratings. |
Soccer-Rating.com: here motivation is the most important factor and there is no special setting for this. Just use usual settings and think by yourself if our team is motivated. If the team plays for nothing, it's not good. Same problem is at end of every season. Last 2 or 3 rounds. At end season it's clearly best just to skip all games. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Avoid in late stage, yes. For example today Kawasaki was the ever same problem. For the computer it's a great bet. But in terms of motivation it was not. |
Soccer-Rating.com: the problem in Leicester was rather "motivation". They didn't need to win at all. But still had a good team, probably the bet was alright. |
Soccer-Rating.com: yes, +10 odds rating is very good for away and sufficient. But you should also check "lineup rating" (∅ 40 vs. ∅ 45 as an example) and this should be at least a little advantage for your team. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Also Bwin. |
Soccer-Rating.com: OO must be greater than AO to be a good bet. Good is: OO -> AO +20 -> +12 OR: OO->AO -18 -> -11 |
Soccer-Rating.com: Right, 5 is a little bit low. I suggest 7 or 8. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Yes, it's right. You want red arrow for our team and not green arrow. Green arrow is still positive. But for example with we red arrow we havre 110% ROI and with green arrow only 105% ROI (it's positive, but always a bit lower). |
Soccer-Rating.com: I don't have any relialbe stats for "form" (maybe I will test teams with "bad form" vs. "good form" later ...). You can just ignore it. It's not that important. From experience my guess is that teams with "bad form" are better bets than teams with "good form". But both should be positive. |
Soccer-Rating.com: About bookies: There will be another page here soon where you can check bookies from your country. And also have exchange with others (for example "upvote" and "downvote" bookies). About odds: Most odds here are from Bwin.com. Similar odds should be available from any country, this shouldn't be a problem. You just need a good strategy. Perhaps as a start you can just a follow another user here in Sure Bets. |
Soccer-Rating.com: No, 8/10 or 9/10 is is again another term. +8/+4 is OO/AO and "Odds Rating" (= away win) ∅ 45 vs. ∅ 49 is "Lineup Rating" (= away win) 8/10 from team pages is "confidence" of a bet. Some bets are stronger than other bets. 10/10 is the strongest bet possible, 5/10 would be average confidence. |
Soccer-Rating.com: You mean Sure bets from "Admin"? Yes, the next idea is that we have "user pages" where it's easier to follow other users (sure bets, also banker bets). One of these users would be me. But you can also follow any other user you like. It's a bit like social media ... and it will be possible soon. First of all we need good results again! The "product" is most important, "packaging" comes next. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Sure bets is a good start. Bankers bets on "Prediction Today" is a good start. High OO/AO means that a bet has mathematical strong value. The problem is that of course there can be reasons for this (bad form, missing players, no motivation). For a very long time (some years) it was important to take high OO/AO. This has changed a little this season. It's still important to take bold (black) teams ... and not "star teams". But it doesn't seem to be important if OO is 5, 15 or 25. I recommend to take everything with OO >=2 or OO<=-2 ... and apply other rules to filter it more. Like confidence from Sure bets page or Lineup Rating or Dropping Odds. I made a quick test: Bankers bets with dropping odds (where dropping odds is indicated by red arrow ... not by grey background). This seems to be very good and strong improve, espcially for the "excpected lineup" bankers bets. Try this! For example Bankers Bets, Excpected Lineup, Accumulator 8, and take only bets with dropping odds. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Try the new ∅ lineup ratings (available on "Prediction Today") ... If we use only Odds Ratings OO / AO, the problem is that we sometimes get a very poor team. With lineup ratings and grey bets for example we have good odds (= odds rating) and a strong team (= lineup rating). |
Soccer-Rating.com: Sorry, betting on goals (Over/Under, Both teams to score, ...) is not covered here in systems. But you can check the lineup schemes on team pages. Goals depend vey much on lineups (is it offensive or defensive?) and the most obvious difference in lineup formation is 4 or 3 defenders. Lineups with 3 defenders usually have many goals and lineups with 4 defenders have less goals. Today it would be Barcelona for "both to score"! |
Soccer-Rating.com: In Sure Bets you will see the "maximum confidence" of a bet ... but it may be with old odds and they have already dropped. Lower odds = lower confidence! In team page you will always live confidence with available odds. So you can trust this one more than the value on Sure Bets page. |
Soccer-Rating.com: I also had a bet on River. A problem is of course cup games ... and teams don't need to win to advance. Still it was a good bet I guess, a draw was unlikely. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Check ∅ lineup rating (which wasn't available yesterday for UK5, so it's avoid). Sometimes we have positive lineup rating and still big odds. I remember a match in Spain 2 from last weekend. In lower leagues like UK5 I wouldn't take high odds at all. A test from "Today" page reveals: High odds >=4.00 in major leagues = ~100% payout with bwin odds. High odds >=4.00 in lower leagues = ~90% payout. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Red arrow is dropping oddds and good. Green arrow is rising odds and still possible, but not perfect. Opening Odds Rating (OO) -2 is very low. Even with dropping odds it doesn't help much. This would be avoid. Try to find for example -20 with red arrow. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Choose anything you like from Sure Bets page. Prefer bets with higher rating. |
Soccer-Rating.com: I checked for you: Today Page, OO >=20, Bet on Opening Odds and with ∅ Lineup Rating Advantage (&emtpy; lineup rating ist at least equal to opponent). It's 441.70 Profit, 102.28% ROI. So you can try this idea. It's positive. But check the Lineup Rating. Without Lineup Rating check it's: -285.10 Profit, 99.20% |
Soccer-Rating.com: Hey, I checked it, Sure Bets page: OO Rating 0 - 99, 1 Year history HOME: 194.89 Profit, 101.59% Payout AWAY: -524.80 Profit, 95.33% Payout OO Rating 20 - 99, 1 Year history HOME: 101.30 Profit, 101.56% Payout AWAY: 485.50 Profit, 109.11% Payout OO Rating 30 - 99, 1 Year history HOME: 118.90 Profit, 103.38% Payout AWAY: 375.40 Profit, 113.17% Payout I think this has to do with "odds range" rather than with Home/Away. Low odds / bets on fav: In European bookmakers you can choose almost any bet with low odds and it's never totally bad (but also you can never win big). High odds / bets on dogs: In European bookmakers you can't bet on underdogs ... we need high ratings for odds > 2.50. In "Live bets" page we have similar results for 1 year history, even for 14 days history. All Home bets are always quite safe with 101% - 104% for almost any rating. In Away bets be careful and choose only higher ratings. |
Soccer-Rating.com: You can follow the top tipsters. Click on name of a tipster and see his bets (do this at weekend!). As a basic rule: A higher rating is better than a lower rating. |
Soccer-Rating.com: All sure bets are good, but general stat here for ALL sure bets is just 100.00% ROI. So if you bet all, you probably wouldn't win. Use Sure Bets, but increase the rating for yourself. Don't take Sure Bets with OO 7 for example. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Yes, you can check bets from every tipster. |
Soccer-Rating.com: * Don't do opposite. * Cup was very bad in last days. Leagues (not cup) were OK. In cup it's important for ratings that the "best team available" is on the field. This is not always the case in "English League Cup", "Japan League Cup" etc., but for example in Europa League today it will be ... And don't quit after 2 weeks . If you quit, at least watch the site from time to time. In "Betting Picks" you can save all your strategies as a link for example and check it later. |
Soccer-Rating.com: I like many things that you explained. We try to foresee the future. This is NOT possible with stats from the past (like "results" or game stats from recent matches like "ball posession"). Because the past has little to do with future, especially if we want to be better than bookies. The future can be predicted by behaviour of people ... e.g. "Betting Companies" or "gamblers". You can see here in soccer-rating.com a) what bookies think (this is OO rating) and b) what gamblers think (this is AO rating). Again notice that both ratings are related to the future. It's not about what happened in the past. OO and AO rating are both telling us something about expectations (!) of other people what probably WILL happen in the future. Now the question is of course, is a -33 rating a trap from bookies? We get so great odds on home team, is something strange happening? My answer is: Let the market decide and check AO. If we have OO|AO -33|-43 it's NOT good for home win and AVOID. If we have OO|AO -33|-20 it's normal and a good bet. So to all of you: what's working very well, at least in last year, and with leagues from "Today page" is the combination of high rating and dropping odds (OO|AO -30|-22 or +34|+25 and so on). This also makes the most sense if you think about it. You can start with at least 20 or 30 rating, this doesn't matter much. But OO rating like 10 is probably too low. |
Soccer-Rating.com: I watched the Oriente Petrolero match and noticed the good ∅ Lineup Rating for our team despite huge odds. &empty: Lineup rating is really worth to check and a good filter can be: Lineup rating our team must be >= Lineup Rating opponent. In "Today" page this filter would be now: 1,611.80 Profit, 102.68% Payout. From your bets Oriente (+24) was a good pick and Newcastle (+3) was probably just lucky. Leagues: You can take everything from "Today" page. These leagues are all OK. World Leagues are always a bit worse than Europe, but still positive. There's no need to avoid World. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Manually. For example you would just place bets with OO 20 at least. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Stats from 1 year are 99.61% after 3000 bets with Bwin odds. I recommend an additional rating filter and it will turn positive. Like you play only matches with rating at least OO 20 (this is 106.64% with 1400 bets, 1 year). |
Soccer-Rating.com: The rules to show a bet on "Sure Bets" page is that Prediction 8/9/10 can increase, but never decrease. In case of Vikingur it's now (see on team page) Predcition 7 with new odds. However, in this example it's still good to take with OO/AO -30/-8 ... in other examples it's maybe not. With drops you can be quite "generous" before you should avoid. -30/-8 is very much OK and a good bet. Don't look too much at "fair odds" value. This is very mathematically and only maths is not always working, remember for example that you should avoid very big ratings (>40) in major leagues (because of motivation or other reasons). Regarding "fair odds" you also also have to consider the bookmaker margin. We need around OO rating 10 or 12 to beat bookmaker odds with "fair odds". But again OO/AO -30/-8 is OK. You are a little bit late obviously, but it's still profitable. |
Soccer-Rating.com: You can see this in ∅ Lineup Rating on team pages or in "Prediction Today". For example check team page of Barcelona. If Messi is missing, this will be quite a blow, depending on his replacement. Lineup rating can go down from ∅ 79 to maybe ∅ 76. It's always a good idea to check the lineup rating. If your team is favorite (low odds), you want to have better lineup rating than the opponent. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Draw is not possible here! I can't imagine a strategy where DRAW can beat a bookmaker. Just don't do it. |
Soccer-Rating.com: 10/10 97.77% 9/10 101.28% 8/10 98.50% With odds from Bwin and 3000 bets so far. It seems that 9/10 is best. 10/10 has maybe the problem of being too popular ... for example odds dropped already too much. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Trondheim is Dropping Odds (OO/AO 23/7). This is also OK. Dropping Odds = 23/7 Example for rising odds be careful or AVOID) = 23/33. And yes, Dundalk is also OK with -12/-13. |
Soccer-Rating.com: You can enter negative values in AO (Available Odds) and I also believe DO (Dropping Odds), because of possible OO|AO -8|+5. In OO (Opening Odds) it makes no sense, because it would mean to take the opposite team right away. Ah, and in all settings for example OO: 8 - 99 means of course that it includes the range +8 to +99, but also -8 to -99. So with a rating "12" in settings, you have also for example a -14 / HOME WIN covered (but not a -9). |
Soccer-Rating.com: Sure Bet has either 8/10, 9/10 or 10/10 prediction on team pages. The prediction rating shown on "Sure Bets" page can increase (for example from 8/10 to 9/10), but necer decrease. |
Soccer-Rating.com: This is ∅ Lineup rating difference. ∅ 66 vs. ∅ 59. |
Soccer-Rating.com: 2 options for newsletter: * select Betting Tools / Newsletter ... and there you can subscribe. * select Betting Picks / click on "Create Newsletter" ... and you will get almost all tips free by mail. |
Soccer-Rating.com: It will soon be possible to see more good systems (Strategy Creator), rankings and stats of other users. Probably at start of new season in Europe. You can also follow certain users then. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Different. It's max. 2 days before start and the bet is triggered with "dropping odds". If we have dropping odds on a match with high odds rating, it will be in sure bets. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Just click on [ X ] checkbox and then "Save your selection". You are limited to selections on the page though. I also have the idea that you can "publish" your strategies later (either Betting Picks or Strategy Creator or Sure Bets, mabye even totally your own bets) and other users can "subscribe" it - where you will get a fair share of the subscription price. This will maybe come for next season! |
Soccer-Rating.com: Yes, in general OO|AO -44|-40 is stronger than 2nd example. Exception is END OF SEASON. In end of season we have often different motivation of both teams. If home team is unmotivated and away team fights for promotion/relegation, it's different story. You should avoid high ratings in end of season. Like ROUND > 30, then avoid OO > 40. |
Soccer-Rating.com: 1) OO/AO -5/-15 is OK for Hime Win. You don't have dropping odds here, but dropping odds are not the holy grail anyway. I wouldn't like OO/AO -5/-25 (because it's huge drift), but -5/-15 is fine and very good. 2) Tennis is not a team sport. I don't think ratings will work here. But in any team sport it's possible. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Wait for weekend! Sometimes there are no bets in "Sure Bets", but it's very rare. |
Soccer-Rating.com: OO/AO 78/70 is much too high. It happens in international cup sometimes ... but it's usually not a great bet. You can for example just take maximum rating 50 to avoid this. |
Soccer-Rating.com: OO/AO -37/-21 is very good. It's simmply home win. You should decide your bet always with OO value (which is -37). AO value is a sort of confirmation. If AO is lower, it means that odds dropped on our team, and it's a good bet. |
Soccer-Rating.com: In general all bets where we have only "2 options" is bad for us punters. For example OVER/UNDER or "double chance" or also Asian Handicap. Because you have to beat the bookie margin. And it gets more difficult if you have only 2 options. Even if you are better than bookmaker, with 2 options maybe you end up with only 98% or 99%. 3 options is perfect for betting. This is my opinion. I like 1x2 much more than Asian Handicap. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Combo bets: New bets always appear at bottom of Sure bets page. So you will watch the bottom of page ... and if there are 3 bets, you take the bet. But that's only if you want to take ALL bets. Much easier would be for example to wait for 2 confidence 10 bets (which appear at start of wekened) and make a 2x combo. |
Soccer-Rating.com: If you see different predictions and the prediction box says "No Bet", it just means that you are a bit late. In most cases you can still take the original bet ... which is the bold team (the team with advantage in Predction: X/10). It's always the big question if we can take OO / AO -15/+5 or not. Is this still home win? I think it's home win, because the dropping odds sign is very strong. |
Soccer-Rating.com: - Free Betting Picks (Pinnacle.com strategy) = it means you get good odds for this bet at Pinnacle.com and similar bookies - Strategy Creator (Bet365 strategy) = it means you get good odds for this bet at Bet365 and similar bookies It makes me more confident, if the checks are there. But a simple reason for a "failed check" could be that the bet arrives too late. There is a fixed timing for both strategies. I recommend: If Bet365 check is failed ... just check if you get same odds or even higher with your bookie than here on soccer-rating.com. If YES, you can of course ignore the failed check and it's OK. |
Soccer-Rating.com: AO = Available Odds rating It's a mathemical calculation how "strong" odds are. We have a huge list of matches in history - all with closing odds. This means that we can actually calculate expected odds for next match. It's a 100% mathematical task with a fixed result (you can see this in "Odds calculator")! Zero (0) rating = fair odds / expected odds. Positive rating = odds for away team are too high Negative rating = odds for home team are too high You can see that it works for example if we have different motivation of both teams at end of season. Then ratings like -50 can happen, if home team is unmotivated, because mathematics can't understand motivation issues. The computer will choose the unmotivated team. |
Soccer-Rating.com: These are results from "Sure Bets" page, all games so far (= 3 months): 10/10 = 101.97% 9/10 = 97.82% 8/10 = 97.33% However, last month was much stronger and around ~110% for both 10/10 and 9/10. After >500 bets I think it should be maybe 10/10 = 102%, 9/10 = 100%, 8/10 = 98% (... with odds from Bwin.com). Rating influcence Result for 9/10 and OO rating > 15 was: 96.22% Result for 9/10 and OO rating < 15 was: 99.60% This is interesting. It could mean that in 9/10, 10/10 prediction a huge rating is NOT needed. Because there are so many other factors in favor for this team (form, strength, dropping odds ...) that high OO/AO ratings are more "suspiscous" than helpful. Conclusion: If you see 10/10, 9/10 I think you don't need a high rating. Either take all or even leave out those with > 20 or >25. With 5/10, 6/10 ... 8/10 we need a high rating and it is recommended to comepensate other negative factors (form, no dropping odds...). I think it's same as the difference with "Dropping Odds systems" and "Opening Odds systems" from Betting Picks page. Strong Opening Odds systems surely need high OO ratings. Dropping Odds systems mabye don't. A rating from soccer-rating.com always has to be weighed/compared against the factors which influence a game (especially those which are different to last round). |
Soccer-Rating.com: This can happen. If you want to be very sure about a bet, either search for higher ratings (>=20, >=30, >=40) or a stronger predcition (9/10, 10,10). |
Soccer-Rating.com: Yes, some tipsters are very good. You can just bookmark their links and follow them. |
Soccer-Rating.com: Of course not all bets here are "sure tips" .. But you can: - follow best tipsters - follow most popular tips - look for bets on favorites (low odds like 1.50) |
